Hi! :) I'm Johanna
I'm a designer, photographer and visual artist based in Lisbon, working across visual identity, digital communications, and artistic practice.
Over the past 7+ years I've worked with startups, technology companies, and creative organisations on brand identity, web design, and communications — leading projects from strategy through to execution, often as the sole designer within a team.
Alongside client work, I maintain an independent practice in photography and publishing. My ongoing project 70% Water has been exhibited in Lisbon and shown at the Portuguese Surf Film Festival, and is currently developing into a book. I co-organise Atelier Studio Market, a photography focused market for independent creatives in Lisbon, and I'm an active part of the communications team for Lisbon Street Photo Festival.
In September 2026 I begin an MA in Art Markets at ISCTE, formalising a long-standing focus on the cultural sector and how visual communication functions within it.
